UGA students at Polo Club have plenty of great options nearby. Popular dining spots include Chick-fil-A, Raising Cane's, Chipotle, Zaxby's, Cook Out, Barberitos, Your Pie Pizza, Starbucks, and Choo Choos — all just minutes from the community.
Are parks or outdoor recreation areas nearby?
Yes! Athens is full of great outdoor spaces. Polo Club residents are just minutes from Lake Herrick and the Oconee Forest Trails (2–5 min.), North Oconee River Greenway (3–5 min.), Dudley Park (5 min.), Memorial Park with its free zoo area (5–10 min.), the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, Sandy Creek Nature Center (10 min.), and Southeast Clarke Park (2.5 miles away).

Is public transportation easily accessible? Do you have a ride share meet-up area?
Yes! Athens Transit stops directly outside the community. Routes 22 and 26 serve the property on weekdays, with Route 22 running from 6:47 AM to 5:46 PM and Route 26 running from 7:06 AM to 6:08 PM. We do not have a designated rideshare meet-up area, though Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout Athens.
